The Galician triathlete participates debuts in his first test of this season

A few days after I announced that only will compete in two Ironman this season (Lanzarote and Kona), Ivan Raña travels to Brazil to participate in the Ironman 70.3 Las Palmas where is one of the favorites for victory.

The race that will be held on the beach of la graciosa and the triathletes will have to complete the 1,9 km of swimming, 90 km of cycling where they will cross a bridge of 5 km on the Tocantins river and 21 km of running on foot.

Ivan tells us "I feel good, I have been training 3 months in Sands Beach and I have made a good base. Now we have to start competing to get a rhythm for Lanzarote. "

We also asked him why he chose this test "Coming to Palmas came about because of the date, and because I already want to start competing. "And as it looks for the test" I think I can be ahead, although the first race you never know, the important thing is to compete and squeeze the body a little after of these months making base. My feelings are of having a little more solidity. "

In the list of output we can see Timothy Don, winner of last year and winner of Iroman Ecuador in 2015 or Guilherme Manocchio winner of the Copenhagen Ironman among others. In the female category we will not have any Spanish representative

This test was held in Brasilia in 2006 and 2007, and then moved to Penha for five years. Later he returned to Brasilia another 3 years and finally in 2016 his headquarters is Las Palmas.
