Javier Gómez Noya falls below 16 ′ in a 1.500 in the pool

He has managed to stop the clock in 15: 56, which means an average of 1: 04 every 100 meters.

Last Saturday, the final phase of the Galician league of swimming clubs was played, where Javier Gómez Noya competed with his club of all life, CN Ferrol, in the 1500ml test, stopping the clock in a sensational 15'56 '', a half 1'04 '' each 100m, beating guys who almost doubled in age

This year the fastest mark in the 1.500 m swim in a world series was in Gold Coast and was achieved by the South African Henri Schoeman with a time of 16: 10

Recall that between the years 2002 and 2007 Javi competed assiduously in the Galician swimming championships, where he managed to win in those years, six gold medals in 1500ml, three golds in 400m and one in 800m. In addition 2005 beat the Galician 1500 record with a mark of 15'53 '' and the following year in 2006 5 '', marking 15'48 ''. That 2006 also beat the 800 with a time of 8'22 ''.

With the marked time of 15'56 '' Noya gives a serious warning of his intentions for the Olympic games, is practically at the same level as 10 years ago.

Viewing the current state of form Mario Mola who is intractable on foot, setting the best time in the last races he has contested, the swimming segment will be fundamental in the Olympic Games, if Mola loses time and is not able to enter the leading group, he may be eliminated to fight for the gold.
