Josep Torres and Olga Pons win the Half Menorca Triathlon

500 triathletes took the start

This Sunday has been celebrated on the island of Menorca a new edition of the Half Menorca Triathlon where Josep Torres y Olga Pons they have achieved victory in the middle distance event.

500 triathletes started at Fornelss Bay, to complete the spectacular route of this event.

This edition the test had 3 distances, a medium distance test (1.900 meters of swimming / 90 km of cycling / 21 km of running on foot), a Short triathlon (1.000 meters of swimming / 40 km of cycling / 8 km of foot race) and the relay event.

Josep Torres, the first one came with a final 4 time: 10: 49 followed by Raúl Amatriain (4: 16: 04) and by the local triathlete Joan Nadal (4: 19: 35)

In the female category the winner was Olga Pons reaching the goal in a 5 time: 11: 39 followed in second position by the local Cati Villalonga (5: 17: 42) and of Nuría Sbert (5: 26: 55) in third position.
