Judith Corachan third in the Club la Santa Ironman 70.3 Lanzarote

Pieter Heemeryck and Lisa Hütthalet take the victory

Today, the fifth edition of the La Santa Ironman Club 70.3 Lanzarote where near 700 triathletes have taken the start.

The route consisted of 1,9 kilometers of swimming is carried out in the lagoon, in front of Club La Santa, followed by 90 kilometers of cycling, with the impressive ascent of 550 meters in "Tabayesco", to end with a half marathon, with the beginning and end at Club La Santa.

The victory in category has been for the Belgian PHetermeck, with a time of 4: 08: 26 followed by the Belgian tambén Kenneth Vandendriessche (4: 12: 51) and for Domenico Passuello (4: 15: 47) getting the third final position. In the female category, the winner of the test was for the Austrian  Lisa Hütthalet with a time of 4: 47: 11, followed by the Polish Maria Czesnik (4: 50: 43) and the Spanish Judith Corachan (4: 51: 07) has achieved the third final position

The winners of the Canary Islands Championship are Rayco Marrero Avero (5 overall) and Dácil Hernández (14 overall).
