Katie Zaferes winner in Hamburg. Carolina Routier finishes 13º

Today the seventh event of the Triathlon World Series was held in the German town of Hamburg, where in the women's event we have been able to see the 3 members of the Spanish Olympic team, Ainhoa ​​Murua, Miriam Casillas and Carolina Routier.

The first to get out of the water was Lucy Hall followed by Helen Jenkins with Carolina Routier just 4 seconds from the head. Gwen Jorgensen went to 15 seconds, Helen Jenkins to 21 and Jodie Stimpson to 30.

Once on the bike quickly a group was formed at the head with 7 units and another behind where were Gwen Jorgensen, Helen Jenkins, Ainhoa ​​Murua, Norden List and Jodie Stimpson. Finally the head group came with 50 seconds ahead to the T2.

Rachel Klamer and Katie Zaferes were the first to go running and little by little they distanced themselves from their persecutors. A great Gwen Jorgensen was gradually rising positions to be in third place, but could not reach the head.

The victory was decided in the last meters, where Katie Zaferes finally got his first win in a world series in a 57 time: 03 followed by Rachel Klamer to 11 seconds and by the North American Gwen Jorgensen in third position to 26 ..
