The ITU will look for technological fraud in all its tests

The International Triathlon Federation has acquired software to detect bicycles that commit technological fraud with the use of a hidden electric motor.

With this software the ITU will minimize the risk of cheating in competitions

This week, 12 ITU Technical Officers, including five ITU staff members, received training from Mark Barfield, Technical Manager of the International Cycling Union (UIC), to learn the appropriate use of this software that will begin to be used by the ITU in any international event.

The ITU will offer this service to all national federations, so we will soon see this type of controls in the Spanish tests
