The Spanish triarmada gets the classification for the Games

The American Gwen Jorgensen has achieved the victory by breaking the career record in Yokohama.

 

This morning has been held in Yokohama (Japan) the fourth round of the world series where Carolina Routier y Miriam Casillas They were struggling to get the 3 seats at the Olympic Games in Rio.

The North American Summer Cook, was the first to leave the water after touring the 1-500, followed by Nicy Samuels and the Russian Abrosimova, Carolina went to 15 seconds and Miriam to 18 of the head.

In the 40 km of cycling, a large group of 40 units was formed with all the favorites, which were together until they reached T2 where a group of 7 with Jorgensen, Ueda, Kretz, Hewitt, Gentle quickly marched forward, opening a gap with respect to the other triathletes.

Gwen Jorgensen showed that he is back in great shape and that he is unrivaled, leaving alone for victory, setting the race record in Yokohama (32:15), with a final time of 1:56:02, followed by Asheigh Gentle (1: 57: 20) and the Japanese Au Ueda  (1: 57: 25) in the third final place.

Finally Miriam Casillas I enter the 24ª position and Carolina Routier in the 28ª thus achieving the three places for our country in the Olympic Games in Rio.
