Laura Orgué and Joan Freixa, Spanish Winter Triathlon Champions

Laura Orgué and Joan Freixa, both athletes of the CERR Igualada, were protagonists of an epic edition of the White Triathlon of Reinosa, achieving the victory in the general feminine and masculine classifications, and the title of Trangoworld Champions of Spain of Winter Triathlon.

The day began with sun on the streets of Reinosa and ended under a thin snowfall in the Alto Campo ski and mountain resort. The two winners also won the I Memorial Eduardo De Pablo, which awarded the best female and the best man in the cycling part. The recognitions were given by Raúl De Pablo, who has taken the witness of his father in the Austral family. Before the start of the competition, a tribute was also paid to Eduardo de Pablo and Óscar Gutiérrez, founders of the White Triathlon of Reinosa and pioneers in the introduction of this sport in Spain.

José Miguel Barrio, Mayor of Reinosa, together with the Councilors for Sports, Miguel Ángel Fernández, and Tourism, Daniel Santos; Javier Carrión, general director of CANTUR; and Federico Campuzano, president of the Cantabrian Triathlon Federation, were in charge of delivering medals to the winners and champions of Spain in Alto Campoo.
