Lionel Sanders and Sarah Crowley ITU LD World Champions

Yesterday was played in the multi-sport festival of Penctiton, the World LD Championship with the participation of several Spaniards where Gurutze Frades has been the best getting the 12º final position.

 The victory in the women's event was for Sarah Crowley with a time of 05: 51: 23 followed by the Danish Helle Frederiksen (05:55:04) and by the Canadian Heather Wurtele (05: 55: 51). As for the Spanish Gurutze Frades (06: 21: 49) was 12ª and Ruth Brito (06: 33: 29) 15º

As for the male test the big favorite Lionel Sanders, was the one that took the victory in a time of 05: 20: 36 followed by the Australians Joshua Amberger (05: 22: 09) and Joe Gambles (05: 26: 23). The Spanish Pablo Dapena who was disqualified for skipping the center line of the cycling circuit and Peru Alfaro who had to leave because of a puncture did not finish the test
