Today the 20th edition of the Club La Santa IRONMAN 70.3 Lanzarote where on the starting line we saw a high level Spanish participation with 2 triathletes that will compete in Kona, Eneko Llanos, Clemente Alonso y Victor del Corral, however they were also present Albert Moreno, Top 10 in the Last World Championship and Ricardo Hernández that debuted in the distance.

The test began with the 1.900 meter swim where Vicente Hernández was the first to come out of the water, followed closely by the Frenchman Romain Guillaume and a few seconds later Clemente Alonso and Eneko Llanos.

In the 90 km of cycling, the race soon saw those who were the strongest with Romain Guillaume in the lead, closely followed by Eneko Llanos and Antony Costes and where a great Albert Moreno was climbing positions until reaching T2 in fourth position to 3 minutes of French. Victor del Corral came sixth in 7 minutes. Clemente Alonso was forced to retire due to technical problems with his bike.

In the race on foot we could see a great Eneko Llanos who was climbing little by little the time he had with Guillaume, passing him in the absence of 1 lap and leaving alone towards the goal. Finally Eneko Llanos got the final victory with a 4 time: 06: 26 followed by Romain Guillaume (4: 06: 42) in second position and from Antony Costes (4: 07: 44) occupying the third place on the podium.  Albert Moreno finally I enter in goal in the fifth final position and Ricardo Hernández in a magnificent eighth position in his debut in the distance.

Victor del CorraHe had to retire in the pedestrian sector due to some discomfort he has been having for some time on his foot.

In the female category, the clear dominator of the test was Jodie Swallow who dominated the test from start to finish. She was the first to get out of the water, followed more than 3 minutes later by the Spanish Aida Valiño, Saleta Castro and Dolca Ollé.

On the bike, the Briton gave no option coming in first position to the T2 with 30 '' advantage over the French Jeanne Collonge of Aida Valiño and Saleta Castro to more than 3 minutes.

Once in the race, Jodie Swallow I make a spectacular segment increasing the advantage with respect to its pursuers reaching the finish line with a time of 4: 29: 48, followed in second position Jeanne Collonge (4: 42: 00) and of Saleta Castro (4: 55: 02) in third position. Aida Valiño finally it was fourth and Dolca Ollé seventh
