The Spaniards at the head of the World Triathlon.

After 5 world series tests Javier Gómez Noya, Mario Mola and Fernando Alarza occupy the 3 top positions in the ITU World Ranking.

 

 

After the spectacular victory of Javier Gómez Noya in Yokohama, It's time to see the world ranking data today.

Javier Gómez Noya He has risen to the podium four consecutive times, which allows him to lead the Columbia Threadneedle Ranking followed by  Mario Mola that with a victory in Abu Dhabi, second place in Gold Coast and third in Yokohama is placed in second position at 500 Galician points.

Fernando Alarza third in the ranking and eighth in Yokohama has been among the top ten in five races of the world series.

Another curious fact to keep in mind is that the first three have participated in all the races of the 2015 world series.

Jonathan Bronwle Although he did not participate in Cape Town, Yokohama remains in fourth place thanks to his two victories in Auckland y Gold Coast.

Alistair Brownlee after his victory in  Cape, was able to climb from 16 to 9 in just two races with his second place Yokohama.

We want to highlight the Mexican Crisanto Grajales fifth in the Ranking, which is this season is achieving great results. Grajales has participated in the five tests of the series and his fifth place in Yokohama is his best result in the SMT.

World Series Ranking

The next round of the Triathlon World Series will take place in London on the 31 day in May. The race will be in sprint format
