Málaga lives an intense day of triathlon in the eighth round of the Santander Triathlon Series

Andrés Carnevali (3: 52: 28) and María Cruz Palma (4: 55: 53) are imposed on the Half, while Ignacio González (1: 02: 28) and Mar Solís (1: 13: 20) were the most fast in the Sprint

 

 

Hot day of Sunday lived today in Malaga. Eighth circuit venue Santander Triathlon Series, the city has gathered a thousand triathletes to play an attractive program that once again opted for the combination of short (Sprint) and medium (Half) distance.

Andrés Carnevali and María Cruz Palma win in the Half

Perfect for those who were looking for a demanding end of season, the Half of the Triathlon of Malaga has not disappointed. A fast circuit, without drafting, that has hosted close to 300 triathletes in search of the desired goal.

The victory was for Andrés Carnevali, who managed to stop the time in 3: 52: 28. Behind, José Almagro (4: 01: 13) and Janssens Geert (4: 03: 12). In the female category, triumph for María Cruz Palma (4: 55: 53). Second, Cristina Resinas (5: 07: 30) and third, Frederique Poillet (5: 14: 50).

Ignacio González and Mar Solís, the best in the Sprint

Vibrant Sprint triathlon with the first three in just a few seconds. The first place went to Ignacio González (1: 02: 28), just one second ahead of his brother Alberto González. The third step of the podium was held by Alejandro Cañas (1: 02: 54).

In the female category, the fastest was Mar Solís with a time of 1: 13: 20, identical to that of Victoria Bandera, second. In third place, Gloria Martínez (1: 17: 18).
