La Marató Costa Daurada Tarragona 2017 opens inscriptions

It will offer three distances again; 10km, 30km and the 42,195km reign.

The next January 17 Tarragona will dress up to welcome the 2000 runners who come to compete at the Marató Costa Daurada Tarragona 2017. A test that is already consolidated in the national calendar and that the next 2016 will fulfill its sixth edition looking to be among the first ten national marathons in number of arrival at the finish line.

La Marató Costa Daurada Tarragona 2017 wants to repeat the success of the 2015 edition and it is for this reason that this Wednesday, in the absence of 4 months for its celebration, will open registrations to a Promotional price during the first 48 hours. 

In addition, all athletes who register during the first 48 hours will enter the draw of a set of gifts which consist of a pack of Orgono products, accommodation the night before at SBHotels, a Europcar rental vehicle to go to the marathon and a TomTom navigator.

This sixth edition will count as a novelty with a more urban circuit that will pass through the Rambla Nova and Via Augusta, offering athletes a different way of getting to know the center of Tarragona. The participants will be able to choose between three distances again; 10km, 30km or the queen test of 42,195km. In this way, the Marató Costa Daurada Tarragona 2017 will become a unique opportunity to enjoy three different circuits in a single round.

In a low-season weekend, the 2016 edition will aim to exceed the 200.000 € of economic return in the city that generated the last edition in which the 40% of the participants came from outside Catalonia and where the rooms were arrived of the two official hotels.
