Marta Sánchez, second in the European Triathlon Cup in Poland

The Catalan Marta Sanchez has achieved the silver medal in the European Cup played in Olsztyn, Poland.

The triathlete of Vic made a great part of swimming, leaving in the group of head, which allowed it to escape in the cycling next to the Russian Ekaterina. The two managed to get off the race on foot ready to fight for the victory and at least secure the medals in the last five kilometers. Finally Marta managed that nobody will reach her from behind, achieving the silver medal after the victory of Ekaterina.

Good points achieved by Marta Sanchez facing the qualification for the World Cups and continue adding international experience in these competitions. Next week will be the city of Cagliari which will host the dispute of the World Cup, with new possibilities to achieve great results by the expedition of the Spanish Triathlon Federation.
