Mavi García Bronze in the Duathlon World Championship

The Spanish has fought until the end of the test with the best and Emma Pallant gets revalidate the title.

 

This afternoon the women's event was held Duathlon World Championship in the Asturian town of Avilés where a large Mavi García he has achieved the bronze medal.

The race took place in 10 km of running, 40 km of cycling and 5 km of running

In a very fast race, a group of five arrived with advantage to the T1 where they were Enma Pallant, Andrea Steyn, Mavi Garcia, Lisa Seisburger and Sandrina Illes, ahead of the pursuer group in more than 30 seconds.

During the cyclist sector the five heads increased the advantage over their pursuers who arrived at the T2 with more than 2 minutes apart. In the first kilometers of the race on foot formed a trio formed by Pallant, Steyn and Mavi Garcia that was opening distance until near the end Pallant and Steyn increased the pace and left alone.

Finally the winner has been Enma Pallant with a final time of 01:56:45, which with this victory has revalidated the title won last season, followed by Andrea Steyn (01: 56: 52) and Spanish Mavi García  occupying the third final place (01: 57: 17)
