Menorca hosts Half Menorca this weekend

The star of the test would have been the media Chema Martinez but due to an injury in the morning session of training, they have prevented him from traveling to Menorca to dispute Half Menorca.

Menorca will host the mid-distance triathlon this weekend. With 500 registered triathletes, the competition is presented as a great Triathlon weekend on the island, in its commitment to quality and endurance competitions.

One more year, the Menorcan village of Fornells will be the nerve center of this medium-distance triathlon (1.900 meters of swimming / 90 km of cycling / 21 km of running on foot)

The 500 triathletes will take the start of the  Half Menorca Triathlon 7: 30 in the morning to complete the 1,9 km of swimming in the bay of Fornelss, reminiscent of the sites of the Kona Ironman, the 90 kilometers of cycling completely closed to traffic, to finish with 21 km of foot race in a demanding circuit in the town of Fornells.

This edition of the test has 2 distances, a medium distance test (1.900 meters of swimming / 90 km of cycling / 21 km of running), a Short triathlon (1.000 meters of swimming / 40 km of cycling / 8 km of running).

From Saturday morning, athletes will be able to get closer to pick up the numbers as well as visit the expo area and enter the material in the pits. In addition, on Saturday at the 10: 00 AM the triathletes will be able to make a reconnaissance of the race circuit on foot and the 11: 00 see the press conference of the event. The Breafing will be at the 12: 00 in the Sports Pavilion of Fornells.
