The City Council of Seville yesterday welcomed the presentation of the Santander Triathlon Series. The event was attended by the mayor of Seville, Juan Espadas, and the municipal councilor for Sports, David Guevara; along with the president of the Andalusian Triathlon Federation, Pablo Castilla; the territorial director of Andalusia of Banco Santander, Alberto Delgado, and the director of Sponsorships of Banco Santander, Virginia Martínez de Murguía.

The presentation was attended by the test ambassadors, the five-time winner of the Tour de France, Miguel Induráin, and the athlete and marathoner world champion Abel Antón. Seville will once again be the venue for the third consecutive year of the largest popular triathlon circuit in Europe, hand in hand with Banco Santander this year as title sponsor. The test will visit some of the most emblematic places in the city, such as the old area of ​​the Universal Exhibition of the 92. With a renewed circuit of cycling and the facilities of the CEAR of Rowing and Canoeing of the Charterhouse, the event will have the following distances: supersprint (individual modality, pairs and 1l2l3), sprint (individual modality and relays) and Olympic (individual modality and relays). In addition, the Triathlon for Nosotras is premiered, an ideal supersprint distance test for the debut of women athletes in this sport.
