Gómez Noya, Mario Mola and Uxio Abuin nominated for the best European triathlete of the year

The January 15 Paris will host the Annual Gala of the European Triathlon Federation (ETU). An event in which the Spanish triathlon will play a leading role with several nominees in the various categories that recognize the best of the 2015 season.

After conquering his fifth title of world champion and making the current history of national and international triathlon, Javier Gómez Noya opts for the best European triathlete of the year award. In the short list of candidates for the maximum male continental award, national triathlon names are also included, such as Mario Mola (runner-up in the 2015 World) or Uxio Abuin (champion of the European Cup this season).

At the same time, Jorge Garcia joins the list of finalists in the category of best officer 2015. As a result of his good work as a technical delegate along with the Hungarian Bela Varga in the last European Games of Baku, both will opt to receive such recognition.

For its part, the excellent work done by the Spanish Federation of Triathlon It has also received the backing of the ETU, being nominated along with the French Federation and the United Kingdom to the best federation award of the 2015.

The nominations confirm the good health of the Spanish triathlon, which over the course of this year has achieved unforgettable sporting achievements at the same time that it continues to be recognized for the work that is being carried out at the federative level.
