Olympic of Vedra in boys and Náutico de Narón revalidate the titles of Galician duathlon champions against the clock by teams

Organizational success of the test held in Vedra, for the fifth consecutive year duathlon with greater participation at the Galician level, with almost 500 registered.

This Saturday was disputed in the Galician town of Vedra the Galician championship duathlon time trial by teams with a new record participation at regional level. The favorites met the forecast and so, both the Olympic of Vedra in the male category, such as Nautico de Narón in females they revalidated with authority the title of Galician champions reached the past 2017.

 In the men's category, the local team of the Vedra Olympic won with authority exceeding in 47 seconds the Arcade Inforhouse and in 57 the triathlon Arteixo, thus obtaining its second regional title. The women of Nautico de Narón did the same but still with greater authority, as they beat the more than 5 minutes to the second classified Arcade Inforhouse Santiago and Nosportlimit.

 Coinciding with the Galician championship, the Vedra V Duathlon concello event was held, where the local team also won first place in the men's category just like the previous year, while Nosporlimit won the women's event.

 The test was a huge success of participation and for the fifth consecutive year turned out to be the duathlon with greater participation at regional level in Galicia, raising this time the number of teams registered until almost 90 and 500 athletes

This was also the opening day of the Superliga Beone, which will feature 5 days (in addition to the Vedra, Santiago, Vilagarcía, Narón and Cedera will be the next venues) a competition of new competition sponsored by the benchmark company in the sports sector. In the delivery of trophies in addition to the local and federal authorities, was present the secretary xeral para o deporte, Marta Míguez.
