Powerman Duathlon World Series disembarks in Mallorca at the end of February

At the end of February and in collaboration with the Spanish Triathlon Federation, the Powerman duathlon test, one of the most recognized and demanding international competitions, arrives at Can Picafort (Mallorca).

 

 

Launched at 1989, it currently has events in the Netherlands, Malaysia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, Belgium, Austria, Germany and a world championship in Zofingen-Switzerland. Among the participants will be 1 number 2015 Powerman, French Gaël Le Bellec and Danish Susanne Svendsen, and other elite athletes from the international circuit such as the Belgians Pieter Rijnders and Kenneth Vandendriessche, the Frenchman Anthony Le Duey and the Danish Melina Olsen, in addition to the Spanish Roger Roca and the athletes ambassadors of Ferrer Hotels -coordinator of the event in Mallorca with Unisport Consulting- Monique Grossrieder, Toumi Dahmani and Tine Holst.

The 27 Saturday in February will be held on Powerman Classic (10 km of running on foot - 60 km of bicycle - 10 km of running on foot) and the Powerman Sprint (5 km of running on foot - 30 km of bicycle - 5 km of running on foot). The February 28 will also celebrate the Powerkids, in which children will enjoy a space to start in this sport and spend a Sunday with family and other children.

In turn, the Balearic Federation of Triathlon (FETRIB) has chosen the test as Balearic Championships of Middle and Long Distance Duathlon. The Powerman brand belongs to and is managed by the International Powerman Association (IPA). The international Circuit Powerman is sponsored by the Mallorcan hotel chain Ferrer Hotels and High5 Sports Nutrition.
