More than 700 triathletes in the Spanish Championship of Clubs of Pontevedra

From 2008 the city of Pontevedra does not fail with its triathlon appointment at the highest national or international level and this year a new edition of the Spanish Triathlon Club Championships will be held.

The Spanish Club Triathlon Championship is the 3th day of the National League of Clubs, which is made up of 6 tests. The championship will be developed on sprint distance (750 meters of swimming, 19 kilometers of bike and 5 of race to pe) and in the same habitual route of the Galician city, with transitions and goal in the CGTD.

Recall the competition system; Each entity must present a team consisting of a minimum of 8 athletes and a maximum of 10 and all participants score (depending on the position, receive a number of points and with the sum of all, the classification of clubs will be formed). There will be an individual winner in each event and a classification by clubs.

First female division Galician women Ferrol Triathlon Club and the Cidade de Lugo Fluvial, along with the Madrid women Triathlon Devils of Rivas are the favorites to triumph, in addition the girls of the Fasttiatlon - CN Montjuic and the Ecosport of Alcobendas.

As regards the first male division Galician teams Cidade de Lugo Fluvial y Arcade Inforhouse Santiago are the main candidates for victory. Besides them they also have options to the podium the Club Triathlon Devils of Rivas and the Catalans ofPrat Triatló 1994 and Fasttiatlon - CN Montjuic.

On Saturday afternoon will be held the Promotion and Popular Triathlon competitions of Pontevedra. On Sunday morning will be the turn of the Second Category races and from the 12: 00 will eat the first female division and the 13: 30 the male.
