Uxío Abuín, Antonio Serrat and Anna Godoy lead the Triarmada in the Quarteira European Cup

Quarteira (Portugal) hosts the European Triathlon Cup with the largest Spanish participation, where 54 trialtetas will participate this year.
Next March 24 will be held a new edition of the Quarteira European Cup (Portugal), one of the ITU tests where greater Spanish participation usually and that this year will feature 25 triathletes in the elite category and 29 in the junior test that will be on Sunday 25.
Uxío Abuín Part as favorite, was second last year in Quarteira and is the current champion of the general European Cup. For its part Antonio Serrat, podium last week in the European Cup of Gran Canaria It also aspires to everything. Two other outstanding Spaniards, with chances to fight with the best are Antonio Benito (4º in Gran Canaria) and David Castro.
They four together with 12 more triathletes will compete in a test where the French are also favorites Viain Simon, Leo Bergere y Dorian Coninx, together with the Luxembourgish Bob Haller and the german Lasse Lührs.
As far as women's competition is concerned, Anna Godoy is the main Spanish asset, together with Cecilia Santamaría e Inés Santiago. The Spanish participation will be of 9 women in total. The Portuguese Melanie Santos is the big favorite, along with the French Sandra Dodet and Italian Ilaria Zane

- Female test: Saturday at 14: 45 (peninsular Spanish time) Olympic distance.
- Male test : Saturday 17: 30 (Spanish time). Olympic distance.
En junior category Spain will be represented by 13 boys and 16 girls who will compete on Sunday 2 in April.
