The Triathlon of Zarautz with a luxury sign

As usual, the starting list in the men's and women's category will be a real luxury with many and many of Spain's best middle and long distance triathletes.

Next June 9 is celebrated the XXXII edition of the legendary Zarauzko Triatloia - Triathlon of Zarautz One of theThe oldest triathlons in Spain.

The competition is carried out under the classic Olympic double distance (2,9km-78km-20km). Swimming are 2,9km on a cruise from the Malkorbe beach in Getaria to the Zarautz beach. Later the triathletes will face some hard 78km of cycling, consisting of 2 turns of 26km with the climb to the port of Maegas (twice per turn) and one last round of 25 with the Aia Wall with ramps of almost the 20%.. To finish they will face the walking race with 20 km divided into three laps running through the urban helmet of Zarautz crossing the biotope and where, as always, the whole circuit of people cheering without stop will be crowded. As in previous years, the goal will be located in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.

As we mentioned earlier in both categories the level of the triathletes is tremendous, so it is difficult to choose a single favorite and favorite. In the male category "Galicia Calidade" with Ivan Raña y Gustavo Rodríguez They are the ones with the most possibilities. Both come with great results achieved two weeks ago, Ivan was second in the IM Lanzarote and Gustavo MD champion of Spain in Guadalajara. Other candidates for the podium are Miguel Angel Fidalgo, David Castro, who debuts in the middle distance, Iñaki Pena-Manso o Joan Ruvireta

In female competition the candidates for victory are Sara Loehr winner in the Half of Pamplona y Judith Corachán, who like Raña and Gustavo, two weeks ago he achieved a prestigious triumph in the Challenge Salou and As well Helene Alberdi aspires to be on the podium.
