The Casa de Campo lives an intense first day of the Santander Triathlon Series Villa de Madrid

The distances Supesprint, Sprint and Olympic have been the protagonists of Saturday. Tomorrow the Short and the Half are disputed.

 

Intense and multitudinous day lived today in the Casa de Campo with the Triathlon Villa de Madrid. For almost 12 hours the popular triathlon has been the protagonist with the triathlon dispute in three distances: Supersprint (350 m swimming / 7,7 km cycling / 2 km running race), Sprint (750 m swimming / 23 km cycling / 5 km race on foot) and Olympic (1.500 m swimming / 38,5 km cycling / 10 km running race).

Sergio Román was the first winner of the morning to win the Supersprint in a time of 31: 40. Together with him, Sonia Ruíz, who has been the winner of the Triathlon for Us (35: 53).

In Sprint distance, Alberto Gómez (1: 09: 24) and Helena Ponce de León (1: 25: 44) have climbed to the top of the podium, while already in the afternoon the Olympic has been awarded Julián Carretero (2: 09: 06) and Elisa Sánchez (2: 44: 13).

The Casa de Campo is already resting, waiting for the most demanding tests that will take place on Sunday morning. The Short (1.000 m swimming / 40 km cycling / 10 km race on foot) and the Half (1.900 m swimming / 80 km cycling / 20 km race on foot) will complete the programming of this second venue of the Santander Triathlon Series circuit.
