Pure Triathlon promises more emotions and spectacularity

More than 700 triathletes took part in the last competition, which generated a huge economic impact in the Castellón regions throughout the weekend.

Pure Triathlon has already set the chronometer in motion towards its second edition, which will be held next 29 October 2016 in the facilities of Marina d'Or. The extraordinary sports and social experience lived in the last weekend of October will continue next year with a test that promises, again, strong emotions and even more spectacular in the routes and infrastructure, but always starting from the complicity and the commitment to all participants. The inscriptions have already been launched for a test that aims to become a European reference of long and medium distance triathlon.

At the time of taking stock, Pure Triathlon 2015 closes the exercise satisfied with the objectives achieved at all levels.

The competition brought together more than 700 triathletes, to which are added the thousand participants who a day before took part in the test of 5 kilometers played on the streets of Marina d'Or.

95% of these triathletes came from outside the province of Castellón and of them 60% spent the night for at least four nights in residential complexes in the region, mainly in the Marina d'Or facilities. Each of the triathletes presented an average of 3,4 companions, among family, friends or clubmates, which generated a sporty atmosphere in the area from which shops, restaurants and entertainment venues benefited.

In addition to athletes and family members, the spectacle of the sports event caught the attention of thousands of tourists, who came to witness the outcome of the race or visit the expo area. This leisure space was one of the great attractions, as it hosted 14 exhibitors of leading brands, generating a permanent and dynamic activity in the target area. Thanks to the existing green areas and the proximity of the beach, a common space was created that children and adults could enjoy before, during and after the competition.

Athletes, companions and spectators were also impressed with the facilities, since the idyllic environment offered by Marina d'Or was joined by a technical infrastructure of the highest level. Pure managed to turn the main avenues and the beach of the residential complex into an impressive triathlon stadium, crowned by a finish line at the height of the largest international events. Bleachers, arrival ramp, light cannon, podium and an impressive giant television screen decorated some magical and unforgettable moments that were described by many triathletes as "the experience" of his life.

But Pure's relationship with the triathlete does not end, much less, after crossing the finish line. Once the sporting goal was achieved, the participants had at their disposal a private area where they could regain their strength with food and drinks, undergo a muscular massage or simply relax to savor the success achieved.

The sports interest that aroused the test was also noted in the large number of media that echoed everything that happened in Marina d'Or, even from beyond the borders of Spanish territory.

The second edition of Pure Triathlon has already begun to be designed and will feature its classic 226 Long Distance and Half Distance (Half 113) tests, as well as other recreational and sports activities for triathletes and their families, a vital part of the Pure universe , can coexist for several days in an idyllic environment.

This week the inscriptions have been opened and the definitive countdown begins to make a new dream, more luminous and spectacular if possible, of hundreds of triathletes.
