Richard Murray and Lucy Hall win at the Triathlon World Cup in Cape Town

The British have won their first victory in a World Cup

Today was the kick-off to the ITU Triathlon season with the dispute of the Cape Town World Cup where Antonio Serrat, our only representative, has finished in the 15ª final position.

In the masculine test the winner has been Richard Murray completing the test in a final time of 00: 51: 33, the second classified has been his compatriot  Henri Shoeman (00:51:41) followed by also South African Wian sullwald (00: 51: 56).

The victory in the women's event has been for the British Lucy Hall in a time of 00: 59: 34) followed by his compatriot Jessica Lermonth (00: 59: 35) and the Japanese Ai Ueda (1: 00: 04). The two British have fought for victory in a tight sprint. In this category we did not have any representative.
