Roberto Sánchez Mantecón opens the season in the first triathlon World Cup of the season

The Valencian triathlete Roberto Sánchez Mantecón will be the only Spanish player in the first triathlon World Cup of the 2018 season.
Roberto last year got a fourth place in Altafulla, the sixth in the U23 European Championship and the seventh in the World Cup in South Korea
In South Africa Roberto Sánchez Mantecón you will see them with athletes of the stature of South Africans Richard Murray, Henri Schoeman or the Portuguese Joao Pereira in the male elite race.
In the female category, the favorites for victory are the Japanese Ai Ueda, the dutch Rachel Klamero the british Non Standford y Vicky Holland among others.
The women's event will start at 14: 15 on Saturday 11 in February while men will start at 16: 15 local time.
