Roger Serrano wins the Xterra Malta

The Catalan has won the first round of the Xterra European Tour 2017 

 

Yesterday was held on the island of Malta the opening round of the European circuit Xterra where Roger Serrano got his second consecutive victory in the Malta event.

Roger Serrano dominated the test from start to finish reaching the finish line with a time of 2: 06: 44 taking advantage of the second place, Maximilian Sasserath (2: 10: 11), in almost 4 minutes. The third classified was the French Francois Carloni (2: 11: 11).

In the women's category, the victory was for the third consecutive time for the Hungarian Brigita Poor in a time of 2: 25: 01 followed by the Czech Helena Erbenova (2: 28: 44) and by the British Nicole Walkers (2: 37: 31) in third position.

With this victory Roger Serrano y Brigita Poor head the general classification of the Xterra European Tour 2017. The next appointment will be in Cyprus the April 23.
