Rubén Ruzafa in search of his fourth ITU World Cup in Denmark

Ruben will try to get his fourth ITU World Cup tomorrow, in the Multisport Championships that are being played in Denmark

Rubén Ruzafa moves, this time, to Danish lands to fight, once again, for another ITU ITU Triathlon World Championship. The city of Fyn (Fyn) in Denmark, this year gathers the international Multisport party, which brings together participation by countries in different modalities, and among which is the cros triathlon, with Rubén Ruzafa being our Spanish ambassador of reference on the discipline.

The favorite is the current world gold Mexican Francisco Serrano together with the world champion Xterra the South African Bradley Weiss. In the feminine competition there will be no Spanish representation either. Rubén has competed in 7 ITU competitions and in all of them has always been TOP2.

In the immediate context, Rubén comes from achieving victory in the last Xterra France this past Sunday 1 July, with very good feelings, loaded to the top of energy and in total harmony with the objectives set for this season.

If we look back, regarding the World championship last year, we were left with a bittersweet but motivating second place. The memory of some technical problems in T1 and the imminent improvement in the swimming and running segments, have been the subject of training for this season, as we have been counting. Thus, Rubén faces this test with room for improvement and with the work and energy to reach the top of the box, and if all goes well, to be able to proclaim himself the ITU World Champion for the 4th time.

Ruben is having a great season with very good sensations in each race he disputes and that has meant two victories, the first in the Xterra del Rincon de la Victoria and another in the Xterra Portugal, the latter, a talisman test for Rubén, in which has won the victory during 5 consecutive years.

Now, that the thick of the season is approaching, it continues to make history, proclaiming itself 5 times champion of Xterra France consecutively, and the best, with great sensations. This, dazzles a good participation in the first World Cup of the season.
