Sebastian Kienle breaks the time trial in the Ironman of Frankurt with 7: 52: 43 Eneko Llanos 3º and Saleta Castro 6º

The German has managed to get down from the 8 hours by completing the marathon in 2: 44: 12

 

Today the Ironman European Championship was held in the German city of Frankfurt, where some of the best athletes of the moment were on the starting line.

Sebastian Kiene, Eneko Llanos, Andi Boecherer  Victor del Corral, Clemente Alonso, Daniela RyfSaleta Castro among other athletes they took the start.

The test began at 7 in the morning, with the 3.8 km of swimming where the first to leave the water where Marko Albert was the first to leave the water followed closely by Denis Chevrot and Johann Clemente Alonso was the first Spanish to leave from the water 57 seconds behind the head followed by Eneko Llanos at 59. Sebastian Kienle came out 4 minutes behind the first in the swim. Victor del Corral came out more than 10 minutes from the head of the race.

Already on the bike in the first 60 km Andi Boecherer was in the lead along with Eneko Llanos in second position while a great Sebastian Kienle was climbing positions to place eighth at 1:20 from the head of the race. At kilometer 104 of the test, Kienle caught up with the test leaders, Andi Boecherer and Eneko Llanos with whom he went together until T2. Once in the foot race, Kienle and Boecherer left together running very fast, taking in the first 8 km about 2 minutes ahead of an Eneko Llanos who was lagging behind.

The second classified was Andi Boecherer  (7:53:40) followed in third position by a great Eneko Llanos I support the type and complete the test in 8: 09: 08.

Saleta Castro sixth

In the female category the winner has been  Melissa hauschildt getting the victory with a time of 9: 01: 17, followed in second position by Katja Konschak (9: 09: 58) and occupying the third position Daniela Saemmler (9: 13: 23). A great Saleta Castro got the sixth final position with a final time of 9: 22: 41.

Highlight that the current World Champion Daniela Ryf she has had to withdraw due to hypothermia and has been admitted to the hospital, and is now out of danger.
