TriWhite It presumes to be a different popular triathlon circuit, designed to unite sports, leisure and family. It is not just a propaganda message, but is part of the reality of the circuit during its first five years of life. TriWhite is the only competition in which all members of a family have their space, regardless of their level or competitive ability, thanks to their three tests: Olympic, Super Sprint y Sprint.

And no one better represents the family spirit of the TriWhite Cup than Rafa Lao, the great long-distance triathlete from Almería. Lao could compete in any event on the national calendar, but chose TriWhite because it is the closest thing to a weekend with the family. Sisters, brothers-in-law, girlfriend, nephews ... The Laos are, in essence, the TriWhite.

"Another year and a few are already here, that we started a new triathlon season. They have always accompanied the desire but this year they have a very special reason for being. Already last year my partner and some members of my family, apart from a very large number of friends, we formed a very united group in terms of travel and competitions, and this year that number continues to increase.

So the desire comes a little infected by all those family members and friends who start to practice this wonderful sport. The test chosen is undoubtedly one of Triwhite Cup, and the reason is quite simple. They have been organizing tests for several years now and they are a guarantee, but, ignoring what in previous years I wrote about the bonanzas of their travels, you are going to let this year be a somewhat different chronicle.

And it is the only organization in which I can compete (me) in the Olympian, my girlfriend in the sprint and my sisters and nephews (plus some debutant who usually join) in the Super Sprint. And this circumstance is not found anywhere else. Since to go to a juvenile triathlon, for example, we all have to move only to compete "the child", and make a pass of kilometers for that sole purpose.

So things, eight o'clock in the morning and I'm already on the starting line with a total unknown on the strengths that counted, since 4-5 days were pretty fucked and in total 7 days taking antibiotics.

Fifth in goal and really happy given the circumstances. Now comes the best, they are the 10 in the morning and I have a Tri Sprint and a Super Sprint in front of me to leave the voice encouraging. First it's the turn of Natalia, Jose Ortiz, Bubu, and Jesús Abad, father and son (these have learned our cantinela competing the whole family, even the smallest tadpole in Super Sprint).

Each one with its objectives, all are fulfilling with effort. Natalia consolidating in the distance and learning to go to feet in water, to wheel a bike, to move a little in the race. And the others more and more quickly, in a little while more they pass me up to the niñatillos. Later it's the turn of my two sisters, Enma and Ro, of my brother-in-law Enric debuting, of my two nephews Emilio and Antonio ... More friends and acquaintances. It is a very cool distance because everything is fast enough to see, around and well organized.

In the end we finished the morning with two pieces of paellas and back home, each counting their impressions. It is clear that there is only one life, that each one does what she wants with her, but if what you do unites you even more with family and friends, and it is also an outdoor sport and with this good vibes, I hope it does not end never".
