Last days to register for the KM0 solidarity duathlon

The test that will be attended by 1.000 duathletes will serve to support people with Down syndrome or another intellectual disability to overcome their sporting challenges.

 

La Down Syndrome Foundation of Madrid In collaboration with Triathlon Madrid KM0, next June 12 will organize a popular Duathlon and Paraduatlon in the Dehesa del Príncipe (Madrid).

This popular duathlon is the fourth solidary challenge promoted by Down Madrid, after the successes obtained in 2013, when Jacobo Parages crossed the Strait of Gibraltar with the participants of Down Madrid; in 2014, when two athletes with Down syndrome completed, along with Michi Primo de Rivera, the 64 kilometers of the green cycling ring of Madrid in the challenge of the 'Michicleta', and in 2015, when young people with Down syndrome ascended to the Peak of Peñalara, the highest in the Community of Madrid.

The test will consist of the following categories: School (7-14 years), Popular (> 14 years) and Paraduathlon.  Registration closes this Thursday June 9
