Vicente Hernández, third Spanish representative in the JJ.OO. river

Vicente Hernández will be the third Spanish representative in the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

After the unfortunate loss of Javier Gómez Noya, the Santa Cruz triathlete will be in charge of occupying the third place in the men's triathlon race that will take place in Rio 2016 next August 18.

Hernández is one of the best Spanish triathletes of the present and in recent years has also established himself on the international scene. A tenacious, committed, highly competitive athlete, who has been immersed in the entire Olympic qualification process, offering outstanding performances throughout these four years, progressing day by day and becoming one of the triathletes to follow within the international elite. Among others, this season he has achieved the silver medal in the Triathlon World Cup held in Mooloolaba and is a regular of the Top-10 in the star circuit of the Triathlon ITU World Series.
