The Ultracycling arrives in Spain, cyclist tour of 280 km with 14 mountain passes

285 km with 14 mountain passes with about 6.000 meters of positive elevation

At the Unibike fair held last weekend was presented the Titanic Challenge, test that belongs to the newly created Ultrafondo Spain Cup of the Cycling Federation.

The test consists of 285 kilometers of travel with 14 mountain passes (2 from 1ª, 5 from 2ª, 2 from 3ª and 5 from 4ª category.) And close to 6.000 meters of positive height difference. 26 being the 2018 scheduled date of May.

The Challenge will have a peculiar format, since it will be competed in an individual time trial, although it can be done in pairs or by teams from 4 to 8 members.

The Titanic Challenge runs through spectacular landscapes of the province of Castellón y Teruel, going out and ending in Oropesa del Mar and passing through Lucena del Cid, climbing to one of the highest villages in Spain, Valdelinares and its ski resort, installed at 2.000 meters of altitude, headquarters on several occasions of an end of the Tour of Spain. .
