Where to watch the Imola Cycling World Championship live?

The race starts at 09:45 a.m.

Today is disputed in the Imola (Italy) the Cycling World Championship on a circuit of 258,2 kilometers in 9 laps.

Each lap of the circuit has two steep slopes of about 3 kilometers with ramps of 14%. that with the passage of the laps they will make a selective and demanding test.

In the end they will accumulate about 5.000 meters of unevenness in the competition.

The Spanish selection

Alejandro Valverde (Movistar Team), Enric Mas Nicolau (Movistar Team), Marc Soler (Movistar Team), Mikel Landa (Bahrain-Mclaren), Pit Bilbao (Bahrain-Mclaren), Luis Leon Sanchez (Astana), David of the Cross (UAE Team Emirates) and Jesus Herrada (Cofidis) will be the eight riders of the Spanish team.

Alejandro Valverde: "it will be a really tough World Cup"

Alejandro Valverde, 2018 world champion in Innsbruck, maintains for his part that “it will be a really tough World Cup.

The Selection is very good; Let's see what the weather conditions are, which will influence a lot. We are encouraged and motivated."

Regarding possible rivals to take into account, the Murcian believes that “there are riders who are very fit and it will be difficult to beat them. Van Aert, Pogacar, Alaphilippe… There is a fairly wide list of candidates”, declares Valverde.
