Colombian cyclist Yeison Suárez dies at 18, hit by a truck

The promising runner died when he was attacked near his home in Cómbita (Boyacá).

According to 20 minutes the young Colombian cyclist Yeison Suarez has passed away after a tragic accident at the age of 18.

It has been the Colombian Cycling Federation itself that has confirmed the death of the young cyclist, after being hit by a truck while training near his house in Cómbita (Boyacá).

Yeison, was part of the Vías Monsalud Engineering Team and he was in the crosshairs of some of the biggest international teams.

It has been a hard blow for the cycling world and for Colombia where Yaison was expected to make the final leap in the Tour of the Future of the next year.
