The Madrid Segovia MTB brings forward its date for its 11th edition

The eleventh edition of the Madrid Segovia MTB, one of the most important events of the calendar national of mountain bike.

Since its first edition, this test has managed to establish itself as a reference for MTB lovers, combining resistance, adventure and the natural beauty of the Sierra del Guadarrama.

More than 15.000 bikers have managed to complete this demanding journey of 117 kilometers, which connects Madrid with the historic city of Segovia.

New date and opening of registrations

The 2025 edition will be brought forward to 24 May, a date that promises ideal conditions for cyclists, with mild temperatures that will allow them to fully enjoy every section of the route.

The next November 4th The first registration period will open, with special prices for those participants who have participated in previous editions.

The registration form includes both the modality individually like equipment, a category introduced last year that has been very well received.

Teams can be made up of: two, three or four cyclists, in male, female or mixed categories, offering the opportunity to share the experience with friends or teammates, and turning the challenge into an even more exciting adventure.

The route: from Madrid to the Segovia Aqueduct

La Madrid Segovia MTB It stands out for a route that begins in the Spanish capital, with the emblematic skyscrapers of Madrid as witnesses of the departure, and culminates under the majestic Aqueduct of Segovia, one of the most iconic monuments in Spain.

During the 117 kilometers route, cyclists will cross landscapes as varied as the roads of the Sierra del Guadarrama and the Natural Park that surrounds the area, offering a perfect mix of physical challenge and connection with nature.

The neutralized section of Cercedilla It remains a key point on the route, offering bikers a brief respite before tackling the final kilometres towards Segovia.

This segment has proven crucial in previous editions, allowing riders to replenish their strength before the final push that will take them across the finish line.

Competition format: Individual and team

This year, the two participation modalities will be maintained: individually y by teams.

The team event, which debuted last year, has been a huge success, attracting both amateur cyclists and more experienced athletes.

Participants can form groups of two, three or four bikers, in categories male, female or mixed.
