Provisional prison without bail for the driver who ran over nine cyclists in Capdepera

The driver was initially arrested on Thursday for serious recklessness and injuries and was released, but after the death of one of the cyclists, was arrested again.

According to the newspaper el mundo.es, the Court of Instruction number 1 of Manacor acting as guard has ordered this past Saturday the provisional permanent prison and without bail for the driver arrested for having run over by nine cyclists in Capdepera (Mallorca), as reported by the Superior Court of Justice of the Balearic Islands (TSJB).

The accident took place last Thursday, April 5 at 09.30:XNUMX a.m. when the driver of a car hit a group of cyclists from behind, leaving two in serious condition and another critical, who finally he died this Friday.

The Civil Guard arrested the driver of the SUV who ran over the group of cyclists near the Capdera industrial park, for an alleged crime of reckless homicide and injuries.
