A co-driver runs over two cyclists and runs away

This is a complicated week for traffic and is reflected in accidents with cyclists 

According to the newspaper Vasco, a driver ran over this Wednesday morning two cyclists from Zumaia (Guipúzcoa)  at the height of the Iraeta neighborhood, in Zestoa, and subsequently fled.

The driver was given hours later at a police station in the Ertzaintza, the Basque Department of Security has clarified. 

The wounded, who respond to the initials JIA and IO, were transferred to the Donostia Hospital. One of them suffered a severe blow to the waist. The cyclists were in line and the accident occurred by reach in the N-631.

Everything indicates that they were hit by a rear-view mirror of the car. The Department of Safety has indicated that the Ertzaintza has opened the corresponding diligences to clarify the accident and to be able to determine the responsibilities that the author of the outrage must assume.
