Alistair Brownlee sweeps the Ironman 70.3 from Liuzhou

The double world and Olympic champion has taken the victory in the IM 70.3 of Liuzhou ahead of three times Ironman world champion Craig Alexander

 

 

This morning has started a intense triathlon weekend with the celebration of Ironman 70.3 Liuzhou in China, where there has been no Spanish PRO representation. Tomorrow it will be the turn of the TRIARMADA with competitions in four fronts: IM South Africa, XTERRA Malta, Challenge Rome y ITU European Cup of Melilla.

In China Alistair Brownlee he has won as usual, leading the race from the beginning. The Briton was the fastest in the 1900m of swimming with a time of 21: 49, taking more than a minute to the second classified, the South African Rudolf Naude, who gave time to a group of 9 triathletes where he was also Craig Alexander

Alistair faced the 90 km of cycling already with an important advantage that has been increasing by leaps and bounds to stand on the T2 with more than 7 'difference on Alexander who has been second and with the win practically sentenced.

In the 21,1 km of foot race Brownlee has limited to control the advantage and has taken the test with a final time of 3: 45: 28. In second position I did it Craig Alexander, who at his almost 45 years achieved the best partial in the race on foot with 1: 12: 51 and entered the finish line to almost 4 'of Alistair. Third was Sam Beds just over 1 'from the triple winner of Kona.
