In 2018 Spain will be one of the countries worldwide with more tests of the Ironman franchise with 6 competitions: 4 70.3 and 2 Ironmans.

Two will be the tests of the triathlon's queen distance, the Ironman. In May, the legendary Club la Santa Ironman Lanzarote is the oldest of the Ironman franchise in Europe and the second oldest in the world just behind Hawaii. He Ironman Barcelona, which he will play in October, is the fastest in Spain, where he has managed to lose 8h in the men's category.

As regards competitions of half ironman, the IM 70.3 Marbella will be the first to open the national calendar in the month of April, then in May the Nirvana IM 70.3 Mallorca and IM 70.3 Barcelona.
