Daniela Ryf will participate for the first time in two IRONMAN tests in the United States

The four times world champion, will participate in 2 tests this April in the United States.

The four-time IRONMAN world champion, Daniela Ryf, He recently announced some races that he will add to his IRONMAN 2019 schedule, including stops in North America to start the year.

Ryf will travel to the United States to train and compete in the Oceanside IRONMAN 70.3 of 2019 on Saturday 6 in April, as well as in the Memorial Hermann IRONMAN North American Championship of 2019 on Saturday 27 in April.

It will be the first time that the Swiss participates in IRONMAN tests on US territory other than the IRONMAN World Championship and IRONMAN 70.3.

 The native of Switzerland, from 31 years, began her career in triathlon at 1998 and became a professional at 2007. In his relatively short career, Ryf has accumulated an impressive résumé by winning the last four IRONMAN World Championships (2015-2018).

Last year, Ryf added the fourth IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship (2014, 2015, 2017, 2018) to his track record and currently remains the only professional triathlete in history to have won four IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 World Championships. Additionally, Ryf represented his home country, Switzerland, at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics.
