Denmark will host the Ironman 70.3 European Championship in 2017

It will be the first time that Germany does not host the Ironman 70.3 European Championship

The city of Elsinore has been chosen as the venue for the Ironman 70.3 European Championship to be held on June 18, 2017.  

Elisinore is located about 45 km from the capital Copenhagen and has hosted an ironman 2014 test since 70.3 and is known as Kronborg Castle, home of Shakespeare's character "Hamlet".
