The next 30 in September will be held the second edition of Ironman 70.3 of Cascais.

This high recognition is received with great pride by the IM 70.3 Cascais organization. Jorge Pereira, director of the organizing company 3 Iron Sports said: "We are very honored with the recognition of the President of the Republic.

After the resounding success of the first edition of Ironman 70.3 of Portugal in 2017, tOdo indicates that last year's participation records will be surpassed, and they are expected around 2.700 participants in all the events of the program.

In the first edition, the event had the record participation of 2.200 triathletes from 65 countries, with an impact on the local economy exceeding six million euros and a media return of 2,2 million euros. As a result of this, Cascais was named as a destination of excellence for the Triathlon and Tourism of Portugal. All this repercussion favors the growth of Ironman 70.3 Portugal - Cascais in 2018.
