IRONMAN 70.3 Egypt, a new test of the franchise for 2021.

The first edition of the test will be held on November 19, 2021

The city of Hurghada, in the Red Sea, has long been a magical place for tourists and history lovers, But now you can live in a totally different way, participating in a triathlon.

IROMAN will celebrate in November 2021 the first edition of IROMMAN 70.3 Egypt, which will be his fourth event on the African continent.

Hurghada offers direct access to the Red Sea y mild temperatures ranging from 21 degrees Celsius to 26 degrees Celsius in the race month of November.

The tour

The athletes will begin the test with the 1,9 km of swimming in the Sahel Hasheesh Bay, known for its beautiful sandy beaches, diving and snorkeling for its beautiful islands and impressive coral reefs.

Then the participants will tackle a flat and fast bike tour of 90 km traversing the interior of the Hurghada desert with a beautiful view of the Red Sea mountain range.

Finally, the athletes will walk a 21,1 km very flat running segment a two-loop tour that will take you through the tourist spots of the Sahel Hasheesh Bay.

30 Slots for the IRONMAN 70.3 2021 World Championship in New Zealand

The IRONMAN 70.3 Egypt 2021 will offer 30 age group qualification slots for the 70.3 IRONMAN 2022 World Championship from 10-11 December 2022 in Taupō, New Zealand.

Registration for the event will open on January 14, 2021 at 2 pm CET.
