Ivan Raña fourth in the Ironman 70.3 Zell am See

The Galician is finalizing his preparation for Kona

Today it was held in the Austrian town of Zell am See the Ironman 70.3 where the German Boris Stein has taken the victory

Ivan Raña, qualified for Kona 2017, is finalizing his preparation for the World Championship and chose this competition to give a quality point to the training ahead of the next appointment in October.

Iván, who came out sixth in the swim, placed second at the beginning of the cycling sector, although he was dropping places to arrive in the twelfth 12 minutes from the first to arrive at T2 the Italian Gabriele Pettenuzzo.

In the German foot race Boris Stain, third on the bike (2:50 behind Pettenuzzo), he climbed up positions to reach the lead of the test at kilometer 7 of the race to leave alone and get victory in the test with a time of 04:02:50 . The second classified was his compatriot Nils Frommhold (04: 04: 17) followed by the Austrian  Andreas Haller (04:05:41) occupying the third final position. Spanish for its part Ivan Raña with a large sector of the race on foot was climbing positions to finally finish in fourth position with a time of 04: 08: 10
