Iván Raña will play the Club la Santa Ironman Lanzarote

The Galician triathlete, the ITU world champion in 2002, returns to the Club La Santa Ironman Lanzarote, where 5º was two seasons ago.

A few days ago a month after the celebration of Club la Santa Ironman Lanzarote We published the first list of confirmed PROs, which highlighted the presence of two winners in Lanzarote (Alexander Degasperi y Romain Guillaume) as well as a large Spanish participation with five confirmed PROs triathletes (Miquel Blanchart, Peru Alfaro, "Pakillo" Fernández Cortés, Carlos Aznar y Pedro José Andújar. They are joined Ivan Raña, the best Spanish in Kona 2017.

 Ivan Raña, has confirmed in his Instagram account that he will return to Lanzarote this season and as we explained in the special #RoadtoKona2018 ya is mathematically classified for the Hawaii Ironman This season, thanks to the points won last year, was 11º in the world championship (2635), in addition to third place in the Iroman Cozumel (1280) and 250, added in the IM 70.3 Zell um See in Austria.
