Javier Gómez Noya sweeps at the Ironman 70.3 in Dubai

Gómez Noya in a spectacular segment of the race on foot climbs 3 minutes and wins the test

Javier Gómez Noya begins the season with a victory in the medium distance test that gives him the classification for the Ironman World Championship 70.3

At 7 in the morning local time, he started where the first to leave the 1.900 meters of swimming were Josh Amberger followed by Javier Gómez Noya and Jesper Svensson at 32 seconds. In the 90 km of cycling, Noya was down positions to reach T2 in ninth position at 2:54 of the leading group of the race formed by Tyler Butterfield, Josh Amberger and Martin Jensen 

In the 21 km of running, a spectacular Javier Gómez Noya was climbing the almost 3 minutes of disadvantage to reach the race head halfway through the test, getting the victory in a time of 03: 42: 21. The second classified has been Josh Amberger (03: 44: 38) followed by Tyler Butterfield (03: 45: 10) in third final position.

So Javier Gómez Noya gets his first victory of the season in Ironman 70.3 and demonstrating the quality he has in this type of distance.

The first to get out of the water were: Lucy Charles  , followed by Ellie Salthouse, Daniela Ryf  and Heather Lendway at 40 seconds

Daniela Ryf It was the first time the T2 arrived followed by only 2 seconds by Kimberley Morrison, where once in the race on foot he went marching solo to get the victory in a time of 4: 01: 40. The second classified was Ellie Salthouse (4:04:05) followed in third position by Sarah Crowley (4:06:23).
