Javier Gómez Noya will seek his second world title in Ironman 70.3

Five-time ITU World Champion Javier Gómez Noya travels today in the United States where in the next 7 days will face two tests in search of one of its objectives of the year, the Ironman 70.3 World Championship which will be held in Chattanooga on September 9, where Noya already won the title in 2014. He will have to face triathletes like Tim Reed champion last year,  Sebastian Kiele winner in 2012 and 2013 and Ironman Champion in 2014, Tim Dom o Andreas Dreitz among other trial athletes.

But before it will face on Sunday 3 of September an Olympic test in the Des Moines Escape Triathlon, which is part of the Escape Series circuit that gives the possibility of qualifying for the final in the Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon 2018. Noya is the great favorite in this test that gives $ 20.000 to the winner, although he will have to face several TOP triathletes from that country such as Kevin Collington, American Champion in Ironman 70.3, Lauren Gossel winner of Alcatraz Lauren Goss or the Olympic triathlete Jarrod Shoemaker among others.

Javier Gómez faces the trials in a great moment of form, after having achieved victory in the Montreal World Series about Olympic distance.
