Next August 7 Sunday Judith Corachán faces its most important international competition of the year, Ironman 70.3 of the Philippines, which will have its epicenter at The Mactan Newtown, in the city of Lapulapu on the island of Mactan, about 800km south of Manila, the capital of the Philippines.
The competition will start the 6: 22 in the morning local time, the 0: 22 Spanish time, the 1900 m swimming will be developed on the beach of Shangri, later face the 90 km of cycling, the circuit is divided into three parts , the first one is 15km of connection by a narrow road, until the CICC (International Convention Center) where the triathletes will give two rounds to a wider circuit of 30km. Judith traveled last Monday to the Philippines, where she highlighted the heat and humidity of the area. He hopes to be able to make a great competition, although he knows that it will be very difficult to maintain the 2016 results list (a first position and three second places) due to the great level of the rest of the competitors, where the Australian stands out. “TAfter the long trip I was able to adapt to the time change faster than I thought, so I think it will not influence me in the race. On Sunday I played one of the most important triathlons of the season, where I arrived in a good shape and loaded with morale after the victory in Andorra. It will be a tough competition, since the heat and humidity are high, as always I will give everything to try to get the best possible result"
